PowerPoint tips: Crunch-time Time Savers, Part 1

Pop quiz: you’re handed a 100 slide deck and asked to make it look great.

The catch? You have an hour to do it.

Ok, first of all, take a deep breath. You’ve got this.

Next, you need a plan.

When time is short, you need to tackle the big offenders before you get bogged down in the details of your presentation. And with these essential PowerPoint tips for when you’re crunched, you’ll have the tools to make a big impact in a small amount of time.

Tip #1: Redesign a handful of key slides

You can’t get to everything, so make sure you refresh the ones that really matter.

Tip #2: Focus on the slides in the beginning of the presentation

The intro often has the biggest impact, so focus on the stuff you know will make a mark.

Tip #3: Remove unnecessary shapes and text that don’t serve the story

A quick clean up can be as effective as a total facelift.
