What aspect of your personality adds the most value to your work at VerdanaBold?
I’ve always prided myself on being a creative, motivated, and out-of-the-box thinker. And I think these are also the qualities you need to be a great designer. I’m excited to be able to use these traits to tackle projects head-on and make powerful, long-lasting connections with my clients and colleagues.
If you were to start a company from scratch, what values would you build it on?
The elements/values I would highlight are transparency, authenticity, consistency, and quality. I think it’s important to combine those elements and translate them into the foundation of a company. It would be a great way to build from the ground up!
Who is your dream client to work with?
One of my dream clients to work with would either be my favorite artist, Marco Oggian, or the sports design team within Nike. I’d love to be able to generate some environmental designs for their facilities in Beaverton, Oregon.
What is your favorite restaurant in Chicago?
The Brazilian Bowl off of Belmont/Broadway, and Irazu in Wicker Park. I love Central/South American food!
How do you measure the success of your work at VerdanaBold?
I believe a mix of communication and initiative is what’s needed in order to achieve success. We have a great group of creative minds under the VerdanaBold roof, so all we need to do is communicate effectively!
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about soccer, hiking, running, cycling, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. Oh, and the Portland Timbers!
